Atrebo leads the list of companies selected for the ICEX Next programme

The critical infrastructure software company has the honour of being part of the list of national companies that have been selected for the ICEX Next programme grant award, and it does so by achieving the highest score.

On 15 April 2021, the final decision of the “ICEX Next Programme for the initiation and consolidation of exports” was announced. This programme is supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The decision contains the official list of companies that are going to be recipients of the grant, as well as the score obtained by them in the selection process. In this process, the Sevillian technology company obtained the highest score, achieving a total score of 8900 points.

ICEX Next is the programme developed by ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones to promote the internationalisation and business growth of Spanish SMEs, offering them assistance throughout all the phases of the project.

The programme was developed with the clear purpose of supporting companies in 4 main aspects:

• The internationalisation of the business.
• Increasing foreign turnover.
• Diversification of business risk.
• Contributing towards improving the global competitiveness of companies.

The award of the above-mentioned subsidy is another clear demonstration of Atrebo’s commitment to sustained growth and internationalisation, as it has shown in its 10 years of experience in the telecom sector.

This business vision has allowed Atrebo to develop projects in 18 countries to date, both in Europe (Spain, Italy and Norway) and in Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile and Peru, among others).

The company is currently working to consolidate its position in this list of countries and is seeking new plans for the future that will allow it to enter new locations. In particular, the company plans to open a new office in Dubai to support future operations in the Middle East. Additionally, the company expects to include Northern Europe, Western Europe and Asia-Pacific in its expansion plans.
