Atrebo, new member of “Telecom Infra Project”

The critical infrastructure management software company is pleased to announce its inclusion in the Telecom Infra Project community, an organisation focused on developing high quality connectivity solutions.

Telecom Infra Project (TIP) emerged with the aim of helping the implementation of global connectivity. Today, it is a global community where leading telecom companies offer infrastructure solutions. Atrebo will contribute to the community by participating actively in the different working groups.

Currently, Telecom Infra Project manages numerous projects dedicated to different products such as Open Cellular, which aims to provide connectivity in rural areas; Open RAN whose initiative is to build RAN solutions for 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G or the Smart City project which connects city infrastructures that aim to develop a cost-effective solution configuration through the design of a sustainable city.

Atrebo has experience in process optimisation, both for the deployment of the benefits of 5G technology and for the management of processes related to radio spectrum sharing, also known as RAN sharing. Therefore, through its participation, the Spanish company will contribute all its knowledge acquired in these telecom technologies to the working groups, including the Open Converged Wireless software project group.

The final objective that has motivated Atrebo to participate in the Telecom Infra Project is the acceleration of innovation in the telco sector that accompanies the participation with the rest of the companies and the synergies usually generated in a project such as TIP.

In this context, Gabriel Bonilha Consulting Director of Atrebo declared:

Atrebo firmly believes in collaboration, which is why its participation in alliances of this type is not limited to TIP. For this purpose, the organisation has created, alongside various partners such as Everynet, Outlocks and vHive, the Tower Automation Alliance, whose main objective is to help telecom infrastructures achieve complete digitisation in areas such as sustainable energy, infrastructure access security, Digital Twinning and process mining.

Telecom Infra Project was born in 2016 with a clear reason for being: to establish a global community in which the main telecommunications companies could offer infrastructure solutions. In this regard, Atrebo joins Telecom Infra Project to do its bit to the project ,with the confidence of having a decade of experience in the sector and a deployment in 18 countries.
